Lucy's Story...

Picture
Lucy was born to a 17 year old couple at the Magee's Woman's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA-My Home Town. She was born with an ear infection, so She had to stay in the hospital for an extra week. In the meantime, her birth parents were thinking about what was going to be best for their newborn daughter.

Adoption?
Keeping Her?
Giving our parents custody?

After 3 days of debating, Lucy's birth parents (and her Birth Grandparents) Decided the best option was to put Lucy Up for Adoption. So after her week long stay in the NICU for the ear infection, She was sent to The Children's Home, Not too far away. Lucy was never in Foster Care, but rather Raised at The Children's Home for about 5 months, until I saw her picture on their website.
